Shilajit Resin High Purity: Where to Buy and How to Verify It

“High purity” is the most abused phrase in the shilajit industry. Every jar claims it; almost none can prove it. This guide shows you exactly how to verify purity before you buy — and why it matters more than anything else on the label.

What “High Purity” Actually Means

Pure shilajit resin is one ingredient: sun-dried mountain resin, nothing added. High purity means:

  • No dilution — no added water, molasses, or fillers stretching the batch
  • Low contaminants — heavy metals verified by an accredited lab, not promised by a marketer
  • Intact composition — purified at low temperature, never boiled or solvent-extracted

How to Verify Purity (In Order)

1. Demand the COA

A real brand publishes a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis from an accredited lab. Ours come from Eurofins (ISO 17025) and are public for every batch — heavy metals screened, California Prop 65 compliant at a full 500mg serving.

2. Check the fulvic acid percentage

Our current batch tests at 78.6% fulvic acid. If a brand won’t publish a number from a third-party lab, assume the worst.

3. Do the 30-second drip test

Turn the jar upside down and count to 30. Authentic resin is thick like tar and barely moves. If it runs like syrup, it’s likely been cut with water or molasses.

4. Ask about harvest elevation

Low-elevation shilajit sits closer to industrial contamination. Pür is never harvested below 13,500 feet — our source sits at roughly 14,000 feet in the Altai range, at published coordinates (49.755°N, 86.590°E).

Where to Buy It

Buy direct from a brand that shows receipts — not a marketplace listing with a stock photo and no COA. Every Pür jar is batch-traceable: scan it and see your batch’s lab report and harvest footage. That’s what “Know Your Source™” means.

Why purity is worth verifying: this is something you take every day. The cleaner the resin, the more confidently it can do its one job — supporting your normal daily energy and replenishing trace minerals as part of your routine.*
