Our shilajit is hand-harvested at roughly 14,000 feet in the Altai Mountains, in the shadow of Mount Belukha — the highest peak of the entire Altai range — on high cliffs just outside the boundary of the UNESCO World Heritage “Golden Mountains of Altai”. Harvesting inside a World Heritage zone is forbidden — and we believe protected should mean protected. So our harvesters work permitted terrain just beyond its edge: the same range, the same rock, the same untouched air. Why it matters

Hand-harvested, never mined. The same family has harvested these cliffs for seven generations — by hand, on permitted ground outside the World Heritage boundary, leaving the protected land next door exactly as it should be: untouched.
